A collection of documents (a retrospective regrouping done in the 17th century) of miscellaneous material dealing with documents primarily from the 16th century which relate to the construction of the basilica, fundraising, exercising of privileges, bequests to the Fabbrica, and general work of the tribunal. These documents pertain to the earliest work of the Fabbrica. Some predate formal structure of the Congregation so the documentation is not systematic. Many of the earliest documents were generated by the College of the Fabbrica, an organization that predates the founding of the sacred congregations.
